Gospels

Why are we given 4 stories of Jesus' life instead of only one? They're told by 4 different perspectives...
Matthew - Seems to be especially for the Jews, often pointing out the fulfillment of prophecy.
Mark - Short and vigorous record appealing to active Romans.
Luke - Literary masterpiece appealing to cultured Greeks.
John - Concentrates on things not already told.

John 20:31 - "But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name"

Look Tasty?

This morning I was so tired I didn't notice much of anything when I left. When I got to curves I parked under the light. When I got out of the truck and turned to lock it with the remote it hit me that something didn't look right. Took me a second to figure out that a moose had been sucking and licking on the side of my truck last night because I've never seen this, nor heard of such a thing. Upon telling my story to a few different people I found out that a moose sucking on the side of your vehicle isn't unheard of. I guess they like the salt. If you click on the picture it will open it up in a new window where you can click on the picture again to see it larger and clearer. When I drove home I saw 5 moose at the next door neighbors house, 2 young ones, 2 moms, and one bull moose with a great big set of racks on his head. I tried to take a picture of him but of course he wanted nothing to do with it and ran, actually they all ran. But that explains why the whole side of my truck was licked and not just a spot or two. It also explains the heard of moose tracks in the driveway.

Matthew 18:20

I dont know how I could have misseed this verse when I wrote up my prayer list.

"For where two or three gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."

Spoken by Jesus
